Itinerary For The 5-Day Tanzania Sharing Budget Safari

1^st Day; Tarangire National Park

Tarangire national park is most popular for its high density of elephants and baobab trees; this is also a home of more than 500 bird species. Without disregarding the termite mounds that dot the landscape, you will feast your eyes on the striped zebras, wildebeest and Cape buffalo.

2^nd Day; Mto Wa Mbu to Serengeti

After breakfast your journey to Serengeti national park will begin, you will drive towards central Serengeti. On the way you will be able to view beautiful Rift valley view of Ngorongoro crater as you do game drive and later you will reach serengeti gate. Picnic lunch will be offered and later after having an evening game drive you will spend overnight and dinner will be offered in camp/lodge depending on your preference. The park is filled with different kind of large predators and you just have to keep your head up and locate as many as you can find. You also can’t ignore the dazzling landscape full of grasslands striped zebras, wildebeest and Cape buffalo.

3^rd Day; Serengeti to Ngorongoro Rim

You will wake up early around 6:00am and enjoy the beautiful early sun rise in Serengeti. Immediately either before or after breakfast you will begin your morning game drive, you will get on with game viewing until mid-day where you will go at the picnic area for a hot lunch and you will later leave for Ngorongoro conservation area, while game driving on the way to Simba campsite/lodge where you will have dinner and spend overnight.

4^th Day; Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast you will commence your journey to Ngorongoro crater, the world’s largest inactive, intact, and unfilled volcanic caldera. Almost 25,000 large animals live in the crater; you will feast your eyes on large mammals like black rhinoceros, the Cape buffalo and the third largest type of land mammal the hippopotamus. After having an adventurous day, picnic lunch will be offered and you will later departure to Mto wa Mbu or Karatu for over-night.

5^th Day; Manyara National Park

You will be picked from the overnight stay in Mto Wa Mbu/Karatu and you will head over to lake Manyara national park. The park is without doubt one of the parks which offers some of the best game viewing in the world, you will just have to keep your eyes open for the tree climbing lions.
